The Process

Professional service is more than just the final results and includes project management. In order to provide the highest levels of service, each project undertaken by Matthew Lai, Media Productions, follows a standardised process. These processes are specifically designed to incorporate the best practises for a complete Value Stream; a project plan from start to finish.

  • 1. Project Requirements: The Requirements of the project is an extremely important aspect for any project. It is important to know overall what you (as the Customer) want in order to know what is to be achieved. This may include the desired media format, source materials, payment terms and time schedules.

  • 2. Creative Design: The identified Requirements are used to generate all of the design work to meet and exceed your (the Customer's) expectations. Modern tools such as Mind Mapping Technologies and Configuration Management are used to provide an innovative, flexible and well managed design environment.

  • 3. Reviews: Throughout the project lifecycle, review of the work is performed to ensure that the project keeps on track with the Requirements. Identified changes feed back into the Creative Design phase, managed through Configuration Baselines. Approved designs are marked by the creation of an Acceptance Certificate.

  • 4. Final Generation and Delivery: Once the go-ahead is given, the approved baseline (the Final Project Output) is produced in the specified media format and all terms between parties completed.

  • 5. Project Review: In order to ensure that the best service is offered, Continuous Improvement concepts are used to review the project and to implement any process changes for the future.
